Max Ellis Signs has been a family business since 1973,

Max Ellis commenced working at the Ordnance Factory as a painter which led to an opportunity to join the signwriting shop. Upon leaving the Ordnance Factory he started with Appleby signs in King Street Bendigo and worked with Ken Bruechert before starting his own business.

Ian Ellis (son) started his apprenticeship in 1979 at the Melbourne College of Decoration. He then took over the business in 2005.

We are still the original signwriter’s of Bendigo.
